 Cup to gram conversion

  • 1 cup flour - 120g

  • 1 cup caster/granulated sugar - 225g

  • 1 cup brown sugar - 200g

  • 1 cup icing sugar - 125g

  • 1 cup grated cheese- 110g

  • 1 cup butter/ margarine -225g





For liquids

  • ⅛ cup- 30 ml

  • ¼ cup - 60 ml

  • ⅓ cup -80ml

  • ½ cup -120ml

  • ⅔ cup - 160 ml

  • ¾ cup- 180ml

  • 1 cup -  250ml



1 tablespoon of:

  • Water = 15g

  • Milk = 15.5g

  • Flour = 9g

  • Sugar = 12.7g

  • Salt = 18.3g

  • Syrup = 21.3g

  • Butter/Margarine = 14.4g
  • Oil = 13.2g


Teaspoons

  • 5 grams = 1 teaspoon of water 

  • 3 grams = 1 teaspoon of flour 

  • 4 grams = 1 teaspoon of sugar 

  • 5 grams = 1 teaspoon of salt 




1 teaspoon -

  • 2g Ground Ginger

  • 2g Ground Paprika

  • 2g Ground Coriander

  • 2g Ground Cumin

  • 2.6g Ground Cinnamon

  • 2.6g Ground Nutmeg

  • 2.6g Ground Cayenne

  • 2.6g Garlic Powder

  • 2.6g Black Pepper

  • 3.3g White Pepper

  • 3.3g Ground Turmeric

  • 7.3g Garlic Salt

  • 0.6g Ground Sage

  • 1.3g Mixed Herbs

  • 1.3g Rosemary

  • 2g Ground Bay

  • 4g Crushed Chilli
